303 Prize Meeting 26th June 2010

Full-Bore Range “Stewartdale” Ripley

 

Saturday the 26th June 2010, 9am Start

 

All Welcome!

 

Matches: Double 500 metres

2 x 10 Shot Matches (2 Sighters Plus 10 round to count)

Grades of Entry:

  1. Service Rifle as issued.

  2. Range Rifle (peep sight with post or tunnel foresight).

  3. Open Class (all military calibre / Any combo of Service / Range Rifle sights with optional use front rest.

Nomination:

  • $10 nomination fee: includes sausage sizzle lunch for 12:30pm finish.

  • Aggregate prizes (awarded for highest score for each grade).

  • Small quantity of ammunition available to purchase or BYO.

*Matches conducted in accordance with NRAA/QRA standard shooting Rules.

*The Club Reserves the right to amend the program if required.

303 Shoot Contested 26th June 2010  

The 26th of June 2010 marked Ipswich's annual .303 shoot on the full bore range.  Twenty one competitors attended the open shoot contesting for the titles of Champion Service Rifle and Champion Range Rifle Shooter using the historic .303 rifle. 

The shoot was conducted over two 10 shot matches (2 sighters plus 10 rounds to count) from the 500 meter firing point.
