303 Prize Meeting 12th November 2011

Full-Bore Range “Stewartdale” Ripley

Matches: Double 500 metres

2 x 10 Shot Matches (2 Sighters Plus 10 round to count)

Grades of Entry:

  1. Service Rifle as issued.

  2. Range Rifle (peep sight with post or tunnel foresight).

  3. Open Class (all military calibre / Any combo of Service / Range Rifle sights with optional use front rest.

303 Shoot Contested 12th November 2011

The 12th of November 2011 marked Ipswich's annual .303 shoot on the full bore range.  Thirty competitors attended the open shoot contesting for the titles of Champion Service Rifle, Champion Range Rifle and Champion Open Class Shooter using the historic .303 rifle. 

The shoot was conducted over two 10 shot matches (2 sighters plus 10 rounds to count) from the 500 meter firing point.
